  5. In the planning stage of putting together some stands for the Titans. Have you or anyone else experimented with different styles be it heavy, light, wood, metal, open, spiked or damped. Just looking for a direction to focus the design on.

  11. Try a bare ended piece of wire connected to the phono stage earth and proceed to touch different pieces of equipment in your system starting with tone arm base then tone arm and even across both. Check that you dont have any equipment powered up that is not connected to your as this has caused me headaches before as well. Maybe even try with no other sources other than your phono connected as well. Good luck.
  12. I started off with a Technics 1200 mk 2 with a standard arm and then added a Roksan Nima and then on to the Audiomods Classic kit so I didnt really experience the Rega arm in stock form but from my time with the Audiomods arm it has been able to display the increase in performance of several cart upgrades and would not be a limiting factor if you were to get into some serious high end carts.
  13. Hi Richo I use an Audiomods classic on my daily spinner and it is a definate step up from the standard arm. The bearings and body are very well made and there is also dampening rings that are pressed into the stock arm. Bearings are quality ceramic ball items and an extra earthwire is needed. Not sure if you can get a kit supplied and use your own arm as a donor but that would be the way to go.
