I'm up to disc 3 now on the Archie Roach collection - Looking For Butter Boy

Another fine album, quite varied in style. Starting with Beggar Man, which seems to have a bit of a reggae influence. There are some up-tempo rhythm and blues songs along with a few more relaxed sounding country blues style songs.

Produced by Richard Pleasance who also plays various guitars and other instruments on a few tracks.

Paul Kelly also plays guitar and sings backing vocals on a few tracks.

Its another fine collection of songs, all written and sung by Archie Roach in his distinctive singing style. The songs are mostly reflective in nature, with a few interesting variations.

Alien Invasion - a rather curious way to start the album. Paul Kelly plays an alien solo on tremelo guitar and sings backing vocals!

I think they were having a bit of fun with this one.
