Cool. I've just stumbled on this. I love these guys and this film is a real treat. I must buy some of their albums.

Edit: actually, really well done on the latter link. Lots of good info in there.

No worries guys- thought it was about time to make my first post in this thread. Have been lurking for a little while now, and have found some fantastic new music thanks to you gents (and ladies possibly).

Would love to be hitting up Womadelaide next year, but a heavily pregnant wife will be throwing a spanner in those works! Have booked a consolation ticket for Toumani and Sidiki Diabate at Hamer Hall on the Thursday before Womad. Also hoping to catch Bombino in Melbourne too.

Welcome BJ ;) and best wishes for the birth of your child.

Six Degrees Records fans might be interested to know the label has a 30% sale on at the moment.Enter the sale code sixdholiday if you make a purchase on their site to qualify for the discount.

yep, Nick Waterhouse is lookin' good, sorta 60's Kennedy era rock infusion. By sheer coincidence a lotta talk on JoeNet (? ask me) about his fine sounding albums (all analogue to 2 inch tape recording)

I caught Tek Tek Ensemble's half hour live to air at  3RRR's performance space for The Good, the Dub and the Global's 5th birthday last Tues arvo.
Egad, those dudes are one tight little outfit, they're getting even tighter if that's possible... their choice of obscure novelities second to none, they never fail to impress! You can catch them Fri Dec 12 at 8pm Open Studio 204 High St Northcote
