  • Here are the pics of my setup. As mentioned in the other thread. I will be doing a demo for the Nord 8ch Amp.   Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

Steady bro... awesome.. love it.

You also have dedicated power lines right?

I wonder why no photos for your ceiling ?

Btw, surely U have solid sound pressure there at front side from 4 solid subs so

do u think it become overkill? Or perhaps you may want to try move ur two JLs at the rear side.

wow bro. very power setup.  :o

Yes I have dedicated lines. Some of the photos unable to be uploaded (I don't know why)

For my dedicated lines I'm using belden 83803 cables. With Sine wall sockets. Just mainly home theater is plugged into this.

For the pictures of my ceiling are this

Just some recommendations for people out there. Is best not to have false ceiling, it's creates a rattling effect when the bass hits. Mine happens to be in 31hz & 61hz. I did not have rockwool in mine.

But looking at ronildoq place his new ceiling looks nice & there's no rattling effect. Probably I will go for this idea in the future.

Hahahaha. I would agree many won't allow them to do much in the living room. I guess my mom is used to my late dad of drilling holes to hang speakers here & there. I'm also pleased that my fiance is also enjoying movies at my place most of the time. One stone kill 2 birds [emoji23][emoji23]

Bro, how do you stack the subs? Just simply put one on top of each other or need to bolt them together?

I simply put them ontop of each other. I never bolt them together.

Giving an update of my upgrades ?

1. SMSL M400 connecting to Exposure 3010s2 and going to DIY bookshelf speakers. Playback or streaming from PC to SMSL M400. (Would be connecting to lyngdorf bw2 woofers to bring the bass up to support the bookshelfs)

2. Placed 2x PSI Active Bass traps behind the stacked JL Audio E112. Tighter in bass and cleaner. Good to help with the decay. Gotten some DIY bass traps for the corners as well.

3. Sold my Egreat A10 and replaced with zidoo z1000pro. Pretty nicer picture quality on it. Playback from Dolby Vision A well upgrade from Egreat. Needless to say HDfury powering them is the best ?.

Pretty much I'm settled for treatment in my living room. Only thing probably playing with DAC and media player.
