Not the LCR issue... the overall SQ has to have a balance... sometime the bass too overwhelming cover the Front sound stage. Just by lowering your bass on the AVR or increase 1 to 2 db on the LCR and surround at the AVR and listen again... repeat the process unit you get the effect and sound stage you want... this is personal preference... don't have to follow what we thinks it should sound. This is just a suggestion and not a must to change your setting.... Enjoy your system...and enjoy your life... 8) 8) 8)

Since it's a long weekend, fine recheck my setup on the following:

 

1. Plug in Power Amp directly to DA&T AC filter  :)

2. Notice 1 Nordost Blue Angel Interconnect cable plugged in wrong direction for L.............

3. Swap to use Nordost Blue Heaven Interconnect cables for L & R Channel

4. Use 1 Nordost Blue Angel Interconnect cable for Center Channel

5. Recheck all L , C & R channels directional RCA Interconnect connections from AVR into Power Amp

6. 2 Rythmik Subs Volume on 1 o'clock  & SVS Gain on 11 o'clock

 

Just spent 1 hour on recalibration

1. Run Fresh Onkyo AccuEQ

2. Set L&R Full Range with double bass ON

3. Sub + 5db (instead of +1x before )

4. L & R + 1db

5. Center & Surrounds + 2db

 

Good to go.

PS : Use to run with Double bass OFF, but now with Double Bass ON :) Enjoy HT time!

 

It's just a simple 7.3.4 HDB setup which luckily my 5rm hdb living hall is big enough to fulfill.

 

I have heard of 5.1 or 7.2. What does Rock123 means when he said 7.3.4?
