vp171s
OCOS is well recommended by Dynaudio for their neutrality with low impedance. Good smooth mids & highs but bass is alittle shy. For those who wants abit more slam can try double the cables. Hmmm...as for price....not cheap...$139/m :P You mean 1 strand for + & 1 for - on each side ? Another question - any advantage to using the OCOS receptor on the speakers versus using the regular +/- binding posts ? Thanks !
dynaudio
http://www.dynaudio.com/eng/systems/lines/accessories/ocos.php look for the twin combi... The OCOS receptor is designed for old dynaudio loudspeaker..new ones you dun need that just standard banana or spade lugs.

Nicholas Wei
Need advice on Dynaudio Countour 1.1, Countour 1.3 and Focus 110. ::) What is the different of sound? ??? Which one better? ??? Thanks.
dynaudio
Need advice on Dynaudio Countour 1.1, Countour 1.3 and Focus 110. ::) What is the different of sound? ??? Which one better? ??? Thanks. Overall between the 3 models..the Focus 110 got the best drivers but quite similar in size with the Contour 1.1. In terms of SQ the 110 is much refine on the highs, deeper bass also compare to 1.1 but Contour 1.3 has a bigger soundstage and deeper bass freq but highs is a little edgy compare to 110 tweeters. Oh...1.3 is slightly harder to drive compare to the other 2 models. Hope this help! :D

stealth
hmmm, what should be the min power to drive dynaudio new range of bookshelves such as focus and contour? Best is 100 watts and above would be great :D but there are some brand only rated 50-80 watts but they can really drive difficult load speakers. dynaudio
I appreciate your constructive inputs. Would the Contour 1.3Mk2 SE best the above 3 speakers ? Firstly it don't get yourself confuse. Previously there Contour 1.3, 1.3mk2 & 1.3SE. Yes, the Contour 1.3SE is above the 3 models that i mentioned in the other posts. It ultilises it's own drivers units of much better quality. The internal cabinet comes with a double sandwhich bracing at the side wall. One of the best sounding bookshelf available at that time with high demand till now. Hmmm also even harder to drive compare the other 3 models :( :(
