This is an insurance video I did of all the kit I used to have when I lived in my old house. Some good old semi retro stuff in there. Also my fish tanks, computer room and drum kit. 
 

 

Nice to have those memories on film/photo.  Kinda wish i'd keep some photos of my first proper audio set up that i had as a student many years ago.

I wish I had a few of those components still. The only thing left is the yamaha Z9, but the inthe video it’s a Z1. 

A nice time capsule.  Do you think rear projection TVs will one day be "retro-cool"?

Probably not, I’ll doubt any will be working by then ?

I used to sell those Welling floor standers during my stint at HN. They didn't sound too bad but I just couldn't do it. I always went straight to the B&W 600 series or Jamo stuff we had.

Welling? Is that a brand?

 

The ones in the video, front mains are Athenas.

Sorry. my bad and you're quite correct.

Welling was the other brand we had.

Just the 15 or so remotes too I see, a nightmare for the untrained!

It was a brilliant machine, up until the time it’s firmware failed  and never worked again.
