I can often find something more or less suitable in the cabinet at my place

Moving house, so the glassware is packed up. These are a specialty German influenced Cognac glass that combined ease of handling, good aromatic lift with durability and style. I'm not sure but I think they might be from Zalto's new range.

 

Whisky on The Rocks

 

Crystal Whisky Glass handmade in Italy by Arnolfo di Cambio. Designed in 1973 and used in the Bladerunner films. It's a great quiz to ask people if the glass looks familiar and then asking them to guess what film it was used in.....only one mate has got it right so far!

 

Beautiful and heavy glass. Spin the vinyl. Light the cigar. Sip!

@darthlaker do you have the full set of Led Zep drink coasters?

 

Gees, I just read the price of the glass is about $250.00, so who cares about the vinyl.

@thethrowback, LOL, yes, I have the full set! The one under the glass was a recent re-release (average remastering even though Jimmy Page said it was the best ever release on vinyl).

 

It got cleaned after I was finished with it. 

 

My fave versions of Zep are the 45RPM releases from Classic Records (pic below)....they sound fantastic (although slight preference with LZII to the RL cut and LZI first UK Turquoise pressing (my copy is noisy but oh is it so alive!)...

 

Yea, glasses not cheap unfortunately. I got mine some years ago when they were still pricey but no where near what they are now!

I've been waiting for Johnny Walker to start using 'that bottle', but they haven't...I guess it was a matter of storage and cost to make them!

These are technically for drinking tea (bought in Morocco by a family member). I often use them for a whisky

Ah, they are around....but limited upon release and NOT cheap now. See link below. There are fan made ones online......
