Now a fully paid up member of the Zu crew. Soul Supremes.

Never thought I would stray from Quad ESL, but never say never.

These are such fun !! Just as “immediate” as the 57’s, have that present “there” sound.
Only just “threw” them on the floor, position wise, so lots of tweaking to follow,  just to get it to how I like.

 

Purchased these from a true gentleman amongst us @oceangreen17.

Spent some time with Steve who was happy to demo them for me.

I knew from the first few notes I was going to be taking them home !

It is a great outcome to pass on my much loved Soul Supremes to such a good home. 

They are quite special and will allow lots of tweaking to one's own personal preferences.... enjoy

Has anyone imported Zu ‘s direct from US. Would like to hear about the experience and import costs etc.

Hey John, not done that myself, but Mike from Magenta Audio in South Australia was having conversations with Sean Casey in regards to being a distributor for Zu again. If you get tired of the import run around thing, might be worth a chat to Mike.

Im surprised there’s no distribution here .Those DW6’s would surely be a good seller. Thanks for the advise!

Mike was the sole importer before the pandemic,….then parts supply issues plagued Zu…all together rolled into a big disaster and the importation stopped.
But on the improve now The DW6’s are selling really well apparently. I too was going down that track until I found a higher level model available locally.
