Thanks, but its really of no consequence, as I said, the system we are installing is variable speed both in fan speed and compressor, it can drop to as low as 10% output if the room is at temp, it can cool one room only if I want and shut off all other zones,  up to 8 zones, its not the cheapest system out there, we upgraded it.

I am not going to install/waste money on a whole separate system for just that room when the house system will more than suffice.

Hi mate.  Your planning looks to be coming along nicely. Its an exciting time to be afforded the priviledge to put together a dedicated room.

 

How are you planning to do your window plugs? I am finishing off my theater now and I have two aluminium framed glass windows, on the side. I made some temporary plugs using a timber frame and Martini Absorb. Due to the temperature diferential I get condensation each time I use the plugs at night, despite putting in small tubes to vent. I dont want to double glaze as the price is super high. I have thought about heating the glass using a retrofit demister/defogger system similart to a car, which is cheap. I want to retain full use of the windows during the time we are not using the room.
