MosfetMainac Posted March 17, 2009 Share Posted March 17, 2009 In two minds on this one, I personally don't like giving out serial numbers, this stems from a mate having untold trouble from the police getting a Radar detector fixed, Turns out that someone made a false declaration to insurance and used his serial number from the trademe auction he purchased the unit. But I can also see the need to provide serial numbers for some purposes. However, the guy selling the gear could have been a bit nicer about it..... The bigger it gets the uglier it's getting. In all my ears of buying from eBay, I had one bad experience and that was resolved through PayPal.
