"Best" Burger in Sydney

Featured Replies

I'm not sure if there is a "best" burger in Sydney but I went to Bar Luca for the first time on Thursday and had the most enjoyable burger that I have had for a long time. The Blame Canada burger with streaky bacon and maple syrup, great fries and a White Rabbit Dark Ale to help wash it all down.

If you are in Sydney and want a burger at lunch time you should book ahead, otherwise wait until 2pm and pop in.

Any other recommendations?

It will take you on a journey.

Try mary's if the pop up is still there.... not far from oxford st. Otherwise its in newtown.

Fair dinkum.

I don't get this burger ****.

First it was wanky coffee................now it's wanky burgers.

What they call 'burgers' these days is like a big 'toastie'.................and don't get me started on those either!

Bring back the Greasey Joe's of the past!

The ones that Maccas put out of business.......................THEY were real burgers.

Don't appear to have a can of Solo on the drinks menu either ........................ :P:P

Proper hamburger or BBQ chicken.....................only thing to cut through the grease is Coca Cola....................then you're ready for a beer!

The best burger in Sydney sadly no longer exists.....the $10 Plan B burger I still herald as the greatest thing ever, rich beyond belief, bun baked on site, perfect pickle........so sad they closed

Otherwise, that joint on Pitt St sort of opposite ANZ Tower / near the arcade for Bambini's

Wagyu Beef Burger at Rockpool Bar and Grill! YUM!

The Best burgers in Sydney aint around anymore and there use to be heaps of places's to buy them. The place's were Greek and Italian Milkbars.

Unfortunately, multiculturalism put them out of business. "Hambuger with the lot and a chocolate milkshake with malt and xtra milk please" .
