Interface
I bought a 5 channel Elektra HD2 last year and the rear of mine looks like the above photo. I can only assume that Arthur gets one type of case made and only makes use of the number of channels required.

betty boop
Ah he used to leave channels blank previously. Is it only channels 1-5 active. It might be worth cost fir Arthur to upgrade for full 7 to help sale as well
Interface
Yes only 1 to 5 are active.

overjp
Pack & Send would be an option, at buyer’s risk and expense. Could be pricey given the weight involved.

hopefullguy
mad to use pack and send... thinner boxes than a cornflakes box, minimal padding and sometimes you get a fork lift arm thru your box.. thats an extra. for that item you will need to ask others for a professional service. I would agree, been on the receiving end of a Pack and Send item and it was not packed very well. Unit came with a little bit of damage but was lucky it was not far worse

AudioGeek
Pack and Send are a franchise. Really depends on your local store. I have no issue sending audio gear through mine, they are exceptionally good. This is an awesome amp, I still use an older version in my HT system. overjp
As stated, I have the original packaging so would not be relying on Pack and Send to package the item. Yes, the serial no. is covered and yes, the person who makes these highly regarded amps is also able to use a pen to mark the voltage and serial no. Old school, I know....but it works. denist
Usually the serial number is the date of manufacture that is they way mine is 7 channel of course pretty good price for a 5, always upgradable by Arthur but you would need to send to him In Melbourne. GLWTS. If you need specs of the amp I do have them on hand in my drop box account.
