SOLD: Fs Osborn Interlude

Featured Replies

It's nearly time to move so I thought I'd try to temp any prospective buyers.

I have a pair of Osborn Interludes in Bubinga which I'm looking at selling. They are only a couple of months old and were bought from Osborn. I'm selling as I'm revamping my whole system and upgrading to either the Eclipse or the Epitome. I was looking for $2000 but am now looking at offers of around $1800. I'm moving house this week and would rather sell them than move them. They have been used sparingly and in reality are probably not broken in yet. I was using them for both Hifi and HT but have a sub for HT bass so the Interludes were never pushed. I can demo the speakers until probably Wednesday but after this I'll be moving. I was running them with some nice valve gear but have an old 90's integrated which as a testement to the Interludes still sounds great.

Please PM me if you are interested.

They are located in Moonee Ponds.

Unfortunately I can't pack them to send interstate so it's pick up only.

Hi

i am interested but the best offer i can do is $1000 to 1500

and send me the photo first.

Still looking to sell. Make an offer and I will consider it.

I'll start the bidding by lowering the asking price to $1600 for forum members.

mate stick it on fleabay for 10 days for 1 dollar, youve got up till the last 12 hours to pull it off.... just see what happens and how much interest you get...

all it will cost is the listing fee and with a 99c start thats nothing

I've considered doing that but I don't like withdrawing items if people have placed bids. Might be a last resort though. Thanks for the suggestion.

GAT474.

It may be worth relisting on Ebay considering the minimal cost to do this. I relisted on ebay (Ambience 1800s) and it seemed a waste of time. I'm now considering an offer, and there are two other parties interested. If I could find a way to ship these then they would almost be sold by now.

Cheers

Dave

I might have to list them again. I would have thought that Osborns would attract a fair amount of interest although enquiries I have had were from people tossing up between the interlude and eclipse.

I'll look at packaging but like the Ambience they are large, heavy and easily damaged.

I got that but was not what I was after at the time. I'll send him a PM.

Thanks Dritz.

Have you tried pack and send?

They will pack your grandmother if she needed shipping, might be worth trying, takes the hassle out of packaging and it wont be too expensive aus wide...

at least that way your markets open.

I might give them a ring and see what they say.

Thanks

did you manage to move these on mate?

Yeah, as per a reply to a PM I sent to GAT474, he has sold these to another forum member. Congrats whoever it was, I would have loved them but being interstate I understand the preference for a local buyer.

As per the last reply these are now sold to a very happy new owner. I even threw in free delivery (by car) in Melbourne after being called out for work at 1 am and working to 6 pm. They seemed much heavier after a night and day's work.

Thanks for the interest guys.

Congrats on the sale.

Hopefully the Interludes will bring its new owner much joy ;)

Hi James,

Buyer got a good deal and I was happy to get the cash. As he was local and I didn't have to try to package them I jumped at this sale. I really don't think I'd be able to make them safe enough to travel with a careless courier.

Regards,

Glen.
