  1. Item: Sanders Magtech Price Range: ~$4k Item Condition: New or Used Extra Info: as per title. Looking for a Sanders Magtech . Let me know if you happen to be selling.
  2. Item: [FS] Sanders Magtech Stereo Power Amplifier (black) - under warranty (optional) Location: Inner Sydney Price: $4,000 + posting (one year warranty can be added for $250), $5,600 if bought with my Magnepan 1.7 - price is firm. Item Condition: 9.5/10 Reason for selling: downsizing Payment Method: Cash on pickup or PayPal (+3%) This very well known amplifier does not need much introduction. This particular unit was purchased from Bill Mclean (Sander's distributor in Oz) about four months ago and paid $4,500. It was purchased second-hand, but the first and only owner of this before me was in fact Bill Mclean himself. This used to be his personal power amplifier. I can prove this with my email exchange with Bill, or you can just give him a call. Importantly, Bill is happy to renew the warranty, which has just expired, for another year for additional $250 (Bill has confirmed that this would be transferrable to the new owner). So, in a nut shell, this amplifier is pristine and can be purchased with one year of warranty This is a end game amplifier, with a unique power supply that is said to be almost 100% efficient and whilst being a 900W (4ohm) class AB, it runs basically cold because there is no waste of energy. The sound is super transparent, very dynamic and punchy, and with the blackest background. It goes without saying that this will drive without effort any speakers ever produced. I used it with Magnepans 1.7 but can drive large electrostatic as well as low impedance dynamic speakers with ease. The specs are: Power (Stereo Version) 500 watts RMS per channel into an 8 ohm load 900 watts RMS per channel into a 4 ohm load Bandwidth DC through 100kHz Class of Operation Class AB Input Impedance 100K unbalanced, 1K balanced Input voltage required for full output 2.2 Volts Noise More than 110dB below rated output Gain 26dB THD Less than 0.01% Damping Factor Greater than 600 into an 8 ohm load Voltage Voltage is user selectable for use world-wide. All details here: http://sanderssoundsystems.com/products/amplifiers/magtech-amp Local pickup is preferred but can post as I have all the original packaging. Thanks! Pictures:
  3. Item: Sanders pre (pre is now sold) & Magtech power amp Location:Melb Price: 4500 or ono. For the power amp. Item Condition: very good, no marks what so ever. The remote has a mark but operating just fine. Reason for selling: Trying Aussie made, might regret selling this. Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Need no introduction, perfect fit of Maggie lovers. Can drive @1ohm stable. Power rated at 500w/CH at 8ohms. Comes with original manual. Have the original box for the power amp. Buyer pays for shipping. Both pre & power are in excellent condition. 2nd owner. Can pass original owner info for any warranty issues if ever needed. But my dealings with Rogers Sanders, he doesn't even request this info. Having said that both these items have no issues what so ever. 4. Item: Sanders 10c Electrostatic Speakers Location: Thornbury, Victoria Item condition description: Very good Price: $10,000 negotiable Reason for selling: Trying an active (smaller) setup Payment methods: Paypal, Cash - Pickup Extra info: For sale are my Sanders 10c Hybrid Electrostat speakers, previously owned by Sir Sanders Zingmore who can attest to their provenance. Included are the following: Sanders 10c Electrostatic Speakers, including 1 x Magtech Amplifier and 1 x Behringer Ultra-Drive Pro DCX2496 digital crossover XLR Interconnects Speaker cables for the panels Manuals This is the first set of electrostatic speakers I’ve owned - and I highly recommend them to those interested in what ESLs can do. Each speaker consists of an active panel, driven by the included Magtech Amplifier, and a transmission-line bass driver, driven by an amplifier you will need to supply yourself. The digital crossover allows a seamless integration between panels and bass. A bit more on the reasoning for the sale: without the luxury of a dedicated listening room, my better half has requested there be "less" gear in the living area. As such I'm looking at an active setup to keep things simple, which is good for the WAF. Here are some links for those unfamiliar with the Sanders ethos: https://www.dagogo.com/sanders-sound-model-10-electrostat-speaker-review/ https://www.hometheatershack.com/forums/rocky-mountain-audio-fest-rmaf-2013-show-coverage/70588-sanders-sound-systems.html When Roger Sanders sells his speakers he includes a Magtech amp and the digital crossover in the price (making it amazing value even at full price). I am doing the same. In this way, you need only bring your own amp and preamp (just like when you buy a 'normal' speaker) From the Sanders website: "The Model 10 will play at concert hall levels and can be used with multi-thousand watt amplifiers without arcing or damage. No protective circuitry is used or needed. It will reproduce the full dynamic range of any music without strain. Deep powerful bass is assured with the use of a transmission line woofer system. The woofer system has been specifically designed to stop and start faster than other woofers so that perfect integration with a massless ESL finally is achieved. ....... Expensive electronic crossovers and biamplification are used to achieve spectacular levels of performance. This speaker practically disappears into the room, both sonically and visually. This helps with the age old problem of the speakers taking over the room. This integrated speaker system will be a worthy anchor of a reference-level high-end audio system of the highest performance possible." The original boxes were damaged in the system’s previous life, so local buyers are preferred. The speakers do come apart for transport and Roger Sanders regularly ships them to customers, so this may be possible but would involve a fair bit of additional cost for new boxes and postage. Happy to demo for any serious prospective buyer - no tyre kickers, please. Will donate $100 to SNA forum if sold here. Pictures:
