Further information: Up for sale was a multi-award wining tube integrated amplifier (when it was launched), which is solid built with high quality materials aiming to last for a lifetime. (I have it since early 2006 and still very well performed and sound until today). I purchased this amp back in approx. 2006 from local hi Fi shop as a new unit. The condition of this amp is very good. This model has been claimed to have reached cult status and are now a collectible that will be iconic in the years to come. As i have both Prologue One and Evo 400 Integrated. Occasionally i still play this amp with Harbeth HL- P3ES and it sounds very beaitiful (for those who after vocal and instrumental, this is really good). In fact I have sold this amp back in April 2020 via SNA. The new owner put it up for sale a week later as he decided to go for solid state amp. I decided to bought it back right away and i was actually very happy to reunite with this Prologue One again. This amp hasn't been used much since then, as such i think it is time to find him a new home and continue to shine. There were many reviews about this model. If you would like to venture the world of tube amplifier, with a limited budget and yet wanting a very high quality amplifier with beautiful sound, i don't think you will go wrong with this. It comes together with original box, power cords, fuses, original tubes (EL34, 12AX7 & 12AU7), manual and gloves (for handling the valves). Further information: Up for sale is my Cambridge Audio CXN V2 music streamer in mint condition (as new). This streamer was purchased from Westcoast Hi Fi Cannington in WA in late June 2020. Has been used less then 5 times (total hour less than 5 hours). Absolutely fine with this streamer just that i played a lot in CD and LP still. Hence decided to let go and meet the new owner to reveal its true amazing musical value and functions. It comes with original box, accessories and packaging.

There are currently very few CD6 for sale in second hand market in Australia. The condition of the CD player itself is very good (like new - as far as i can see). Work flawlessly and sounds superb. There is some blemish on the original metal remote control but it works well without issue. And this has been relfected in the sales price. i have included a brand new plastic remote control (replacement) which i have ordered directly from Audio Research USA. With the top condition to the CD player itself, i believe this might be one of the lowest price you can find in second hand market in Australia. Yes i believe there are very few CD5/ 6/ 9 up for sale in second hand market in Australia. i would love to try the balanced connection sometime in the future but for the time being i am using tube integrated amp without XLR inputs.

Holly what a beauty and it is extremely rare to see Carmel 2 in Stereonet. While i am grateful to own YG Acoustic Carmel since few months ago, this Carmel 2 certainly another level up. i wish too can have extra fund for this. so close yet so far. I have been using bookshelf speakers and never own floor standing speakers. Honestly i didn't even heard this name before (what a shame) but for the first time i feel this could be the ultimate speaker that i would keep and enjoy for life (even without audition it). not to mention after reading the reviews!!! i have been spending hours just now to run through the reviews and even try to "audition" it via youtube . such a beautiful speakers indeed. i just dug my wallet and upgraded my tube integrated amp to Primaluna Evo 400 few days ago, and has been start shopping around with the remaining few thousand bucks in hand for a pair of floor standing speakers. How i wish i can reach this right away. very beautiful speakers indeed. GLWTS

hi Betty , i think you are right, the SUB OUT (stereo) is effectively a pre out (this have been mentinoed in the review article for Evo 400 integrated (in primaluna.files.wordpress.com). just that it would be good to know if it can be used as pre amp to allow future upgrade without getting the new premap. But i see your point above and it makes perfect sense to go for pure pre amp rather turning this around. thanks again.

And for this, I truly believe. As i have both Prologue One and Evo 400 Integrated. i still play this amp with Harbeth HL- P3ES and it sounds very beaitiful (for those who after vocal and instrumental, this is really good). The reason I am thinking to let go is due to my recent upgrade to Primaluna Evo 400, and i need some additional fund to support for DAC and turntable. Please don’t get me wrong, Primaluna Prologue One sounds very good (personally). If you would like to venture the world of tube amplifier, with a limited budget and yet wanting a very high quality amplifier with beautiful sound, you can consider this. It comes together with original box, original tubes (EL34, 12AX7 & 12AU7), manual and gloves (for handling the valves). hi Mike, thank you very much for your comments. I think this output is likely a fixed line output but i will find out. if it is managed by the volume control then would be much straight forward. otherwise will have to use a passive attenuator with volume control with it. cheers.
