  2. Hi webbsy What is the absolute final date you need the order confirmed by? Still tossing up between this one and the TW9000. Cheers
  3. Is it possible to get this screen shipped at all or is it just impractical?
  4. Me too ... looking for a 130 inch scope in brissy. Maybe we should do a group buy.
  5. I have a 885 in good condition. Located in Brisbane, Queensland.
  6. My Fronts and Center are set to +4.5 rears to +2.5 and Sub is at -3db.
  7. Sorry i dropped of the internet for a little bit. I have it working now i think, i have set the fronts to small and manually set the Xver to 80Hz. Cheers Guts
  8. I tried doing this but it made my sub gain -8.5 db. Not sure what i am doing wrong.
  9. Hi Guys Hoping for some resolution to my problem. This is my current setup with the Yamaha RXV 3900 Amp 1. B&W 683 Front 2. B&W HTM61 Centre 3. B&W 685 rears 4. Velodyne CHT-Q10 Sub I have connected everything correctly with regards to polarity etc. When i run the Automatic Audio Setup, this is what i get Fronts distance 3.9m Gain +5.5db Centre Distance 3.5m Gain +6.5db sub Distance 4.2m gain -5.5db. The fronts have been set to large and the crossover it has picked is 40hz. Now when i play any source i.e. TV, CD or Blue ray my sub hardly fires. Can anyone please advise what i am doing wrong. The sub was set to 50% volume and direct crossover setting when the audio setup was being done. Any help will me much appreciated. Thanks Manu
  10. Do you have a sub for sale separately?
  11. I am now the proud owner of a 1080p projector and a 100inch ozts screen. I have no problem recommending Blair to any one else looking to buy from him in the future. Thanks for an easy transaction. P.S Did this thing have a remote?
  12. Yep that is why it is as shown now, originally i wanted it adjacent to the stairwell but building code does not permit that. Any opinions on what i am going to buy
  13. Well my house is almost at frame stage now and i am freaking out as i have not bought any cables yet. Selby acoustics are having an easter sale and i am hoping you guys will hep me find the right stuff. The finalized plans are as below Ground Floor Top Floor Basically this is what i plan to achieve 1. In ceiling speaker (for rears) set up for the family area downstairs. This is so that the speakers are not in the way of anything. I also want to be able to play the same output to the two outdoor speakers in the alfresco or have the option of playing something else there. I am thinking of hooking this up to an airport express so i can control the music wirelessly. 2. 5.1 Surround sound set up initially for the upstairs TV area but with option of going to 7.1 in the future. This will have a projector. The equipment will sit along the wall adjacent to the 2nd bathroom. 3. Wall mount LCD tv in the master bedroom with the provision of connecting a foxtel iq box only. I was looking at the buying the following items 1. TV mount - http://www.selbyacoustics.com.au/storefron...amp;i=208032056 2. Speaker wiring - http://www.selbyacoustics.com.au/storefron...amp;i=243654039 for the alfresco and 7.1 setup speakers 3. Wall plates - http://www.selbyacoustics.com.au/storefron...amp;i=250591704 or http://www.selbyacoustics.com.au/storefron...amp;i=250591725 4. HDMI wall plates - http://www.selbyacoustics.com.au/storefron...amp;i=235954803 Can some one please advise me if i am on the right track here before i pull the trigger. Many thanks
  14. that looks good mate, although should i try and relocate the door to Room 3 then? Also i am working of the recommendation explained in http://cavx.blogspot.com/ So going by this, for a room of length 5080mm the recommended screen height is 1128mm. A 130 inch scope screen has a height of 1281mm on this website http://www.selbyacoustics.com.au/StoreFron...amp;i=248818361 Is this going to be an issue?
  15. I have got some pictures of a display home that was similar to ours. For more pics you guys can go to www.house4life.com.au Picture of the area in question Picture of Doorway and Bedroom 3 door that needs to be relocated Picture of the other corner I am currently contemplating dropping the 7.1 CH option for 5.1 CH as I have no space to install my side speakers. The couch should be around 4.08m from the screen this should give 1m for a walkway and to install rear speakers. DSC_0137_Modified_again.pdf Does this seem the best option to you guys? I will start a build thread once construction has started. Cheers
  16. I have sent an email off to the builder to ask them about this. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I don't really want to lose Room 4 as when i go to sell my property in a few years that could be the difference between a few extra K's on the sale price.
  17. Hi mate, Any chance you could pass us some links for the in ceiling speakers you have chosen for your dining, alfresco and home theatre. Also is this a 5.1 or 7.1 setup? How do you then angle the speakers so to speak towards the listener? cos i am assuming the sound must come straight down. Thanks
  18. Hmm i was planning on getting a scope set up of around 130" so that my 16:9 would be close to around 100 inches. I cannot find the calculator that worked out the throw ratio for scope screen. Does any one have a link? Is this trying to achieve too much in too small a room
  19. Thanks, no nothing has been decided yet, i would prefer home theatre recliners if i can fit them in. You are probably right about the side speakers. Ideally i would like seating for 5 and maybe a couple of bean bags tossed in. The previous poster has confused me again vis-a-vis seating locations as he makes a good point about access to balcony and restricted side seating.
