  1. Further Information: These headphones hardly require introduction. They are champions of noise cancelling, have a great app with all the bells and technical whistles, comes with a claimed 30hrs of battery life and sound bloody good to boot. They have served me faultlessly at the desk when my office mate (mrs) is on a video call or for general listening when working from home. They've never been subjected to the rigours of travel/commuting. Just over a year on, its time for something else. Perfectly cared for, cleaned and in brilliant condition. With the packaging, they do a great imitation of a new pair.
  2. Further information: PhotosI bought these off the forum to scratch an IEM itch. I used them probably about a dozen times and really enjoyed the sound. For my purposes though, I ended up using my Sony NC full size headphone the majority of the time though. - All original accessories are included. - Included foam tips have never been opened. - Cleaned as well as a person can reasonably clean them. These are extremely well reviewed and well worth the $438 (cheapest I could find new in Australia) price tag. 4. Further information: I've had these for a few years, but lately they've not had much play time due to the expected, but untimely death of my Onkyo AVR. I hooked them up recently to my stereo system and they do sound great: a beautiful laid-back sound with plenty of bass. They did use to retail at around $3k, so I suppose great sound is to be expected. 5. Further information: I got these to build an amp for my mancave system. Mancave is no more, so its are just gathering dust and must go. I have 2 of these if someone wanted more than one. 220V input 35-0-35 V output 13V output Photos: PLEASE READ If you include any reference to pricing whatsoever in this section (excluding RRP), your ad will not be approved If you are advertising multiple items, you must post one bulk price only, or post seperate ads for each item If you don't include photographs of the actual item being sold, your ad will not be approved You understand that a reasonable donation for selling fees is expected upon successful sale of your item - if you have previously sold items and not made a donation, your advertisement may not be approved.
  6. Further information: The MDF cabs are sized based on the measured T/S parameters of the drivers. Tweeters went AWOL so the front baffles are no longer suitable, but you can have them if you want. 7. I like the idea of getting Morel speakers in there. Is this what you were thinking of? Morel Maximus
  8. Looks like this one is spoken for. Thanks for all the interest.
  9. I recently bought a Triton MR GLS. Good car, but pretty average sound. Having just blown my cash on the car and embellishments, I'm looking to upgrade the front speakers only. Budget is stitting around $300-400. Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated.
  10. As its meant to be a freebie, I'm holding out for local interest. If there isn't any, I'd be happy to post at cost.
  11. Further information: Well regarded CD transport. No remote. Intermittend problem with not opening / reading certain CDRs. Might be of use for someone who knows how to fix. 12. Further information: 2 of 1200 x 600 x 120(deep) mm 2 of 1200 x 600 x 35 (deep) mm All panels uses 48kg/m3 rockwool semi-rigid panels, foil backed to maximise lower frequency absorption. All are mounted on very sturdy plywood frames and the sides have rigid frames to ensure they keep their shape. Rest assured that ALL rockwool fibre are contained and secured inside the panels. The thinner panels are ideal for treating first reflection points in the frequency range that affects imaging. The thick panels will be equally as effective for first reflection points, but straddling room corners with them, I've measured significant improvement in decay times around the 100 Hz mark. I made these to treat my mancave to good effect, coupled with my chunk traps. Unfortunately, I no longer have a dedicated audio room and I have succumbed to 3rd party pressure - SWAMBO. 1x freebie 1200 x 600 x 35 (deep) mm. This was my frist attempt and not covered in the same colour material and has soft edges. 13. Further information: Still in shipping box. Great for star gazing, spying on far-off animals and lazy days staring into the distance. 14. Thanks for that. I suppose a bit of eq would not cause too much harm?
  15. Looks like I'm kicking my little IEM adventure off with the Blessing 2 then. ?
  16. Vivid seems to pair their speakers quite often with Devialet and from reports its a match made in heaven. I've only heard the 2 ways and they were excellent too. Those metal drivers does loud and quiet very well, never complaining, no matter how hard they were driven.
  17. Thanks for the link. He is really not impressed. I've certainly looked at the Blessing 2 and even the Etymotic (although I think they may end up isolating too well at -42dB), but both pretty much lays waste to my budget.
  18. I've been dabbling in headphones for use at my desk. All pretty mid-fi: HE400 and Focal Listen is currently in duty. I wanted to kick things up a notch or 3 and try out IEMs before summer comes to Bris. I quickly learned that my budget of $400 or so leaves plenty of room towards the top end of IEM land though... Drop+ JVC HA FDX1 caught my eye. I prefer a fairly neutral sound, will probably run them off my Galaxy S10 or Maverick D1 DAC/Amp for now. Any experience or thoughts on other options in and around my price range would be appreciated.
  19. I have a set of Focal Listen headies that are really good for this type of thing. They insulate well, can do both BT and wired and folds up into a carry case. Being Focal, they sound more than decent too. Not sure what sort of budget you have in mind though?
  20. Glad you're happy with you new amp. My vote goes for passing it along in the classifieds. No use keeping it in the cupboard.
