  1. S. Marsh. I would like to say that he is better than that.....but.
  2. Harris looks like he has a nice technique & temperament.
  3. Can't believe he got a cap.
  4. One ball, one wicket. As it should be. Good luck lads.
  5. Just wondering how much longer the Aussie lads can keep biting their tongues? I looks like it is starting to get a bit frustrating out there with some excellent resistance.
  6. A good session. The sort of figures that might suggest that they were playing at tthe Gabba.
  7. Regulation gully catch. Three loose shots outside of off, but the balls were well pitched up. Great start!
  8. Very good wicket. Need three this session.
  9. Here we go. Anybody watching?
  10. Also brilliant.... The post modernist movement in London & Chicago is fresh & vibrant. Loving all these new releases.
  11. A brand new release from the master at age 83. As good as 'Scratch' has ever been. An all analogue production, using vintage mic's & desk. Got the cd but need to find the vinyl to do it proper justice.
  12. The freshest release of '82 & still vitally fresh. Genius!
  13. It does not need to be mentioned but Daz is a man of infinite jest & excellent fancy. The company you mention was most excellent. So couth & mannerly, (especially @Wongy ). That lounge seriously rocked! Cool!
  14. Fantastic labels. Couldn't help but be an amazing compilation.
  15. It's a changing world. My morbid curiosity made me keep up with the blogs of the games & I would have watched the ODI's if they were on FTA. I can't get excited about twenty20 fluff. My 6 year old grandson loves to watch the cricket with his Pops. He has just joined the local team with his 5 y/o brother. We play in the back yard & the older fella has a sweet crossbat swipe to cow corner. He doesn't go for that straight bat shyte. He also bowls a good line & length but I'm trying to get his arm higher. He just wants to bowl really fast. I'm beginning to whisper in his ear about the Satanic art of wrist spin. Come proper cricket time, I will be hopelessly glued to the tv as I love the drama of the Indian team. My hopelessly naïve optimism makes for a good counter to @Luc's dreary Lancashire pessimism, .
  16. It is very nice. Wonderful musicians but the highlight for me is the great Chucho Valdes on piano. A sweet Cubano swing throughout.
  17. A mate burned me a copy to cd-r. Wow! The greatest jazz composer & the greatest jazz band. From 1963, it swings furiously. The charts are almost Ra like at times. Such genius in the horn arrangements. The soloists are inspired. Paul Gonsalves, Johnny Hodges, Ray Nance, Jimmy Hamilton & the Duke solo exquisitely. Bright & brilliant sound. I'm totally blown away.
