Unison Research and Opera Loudspeakers Appoints Fidelity Imports for US Distribution

Fidelity Imports, an importer and distributor of some of the world's finest audio products, will offer Unison Research's range of valve electronics and Opera Loudspeakers range of Italian made loudspeakers in the U.S. market.

Born in 1945, Unison Research's founder Giovanni Maria Sacchetti devoted himself at an early age to the study and design of hi-fi systems. He combined his interest in electronics with a passion for music inherited from his father, an expert pianist. After completing his studies in electronics, he devoted twenty-five years to teaching while at the same time designing and developing amplifiers for Unison Research.

Opera Loudspeakers was founded in 1989 in a synergy between two cultures and two audiophiles, one Italian and the other English. The company's first loudspeaker to bear the Opera name was called Caruso and was the precursor of a series named in homage to the legendary voices of the lyric opera.  

Callas, Operetta and Divina soon followed, each gaining enthusiastic acclaim in the developed audio markets worldwide. Opera loudspeakers appeared as a fusion between the old and the new - traditional Italian craftsmanship in cabinet making and the most advanced acoustic technology.
