Bristol Hi-Fi Show: PMC Prophecy Turns One - Michell Gyro & Revolv Debut

The 2026 Bristol Show has cause for celebration as Michell’s new turntables make their UK premiere alongside PMC’s Prophecy speakers’ first anniversary.

PMC Distribution UK will be in celebratory mood as it hosts the first anniversary of PMC’s prophecy series, the launch of two new Michell turntables and a new amplifier from Bryston in the SS Great Britain Suite on the Ground Floor of the show.

The five-strong prophecy loudspeaker series was debuted at The Bristol Show last year (above) and has since been welcomed globally. The prophecy series embraces a host of cutting-edge technologies and a new aesthetic that together define the future of PMC’s sound.

All four stereo pairs in the range, the prophecy1 (£2,875), a two-way standmount, and the slimline two-way prophecy5 (£4,575) floorstander, the three-way prophecy7 (£6,575) and flagship prophecy9 (£8,975), which features dual bass drivers, will be displayed, alongside the matching centre speaker, the prophecyC.

PMC Distribution UK also looks after Michell Engineering and presents the esteemed British brand’s two new turntables at their first UK hi-fi show demonstration.

Visitors will see and hear the latest iteration of the legendary Gyro (£5,995), a significant reimagining of everything beneath the surface, presenting a deck that is undeniably a Gyro but delivers dramatic performance improvements. We were at the unveiling and were instantly beguiled.

Meanwhile, the Michell Revolv (£3,995) is an entirely new proposition that brings years of engineering excellence to a deck positioned between the minimalist TecnoDec and the new Gyro. The Revolv brings together the TecnoDec platform with elements from the Gyro, enabling more people to experience the precision, clarity and enduring quality that defines the Michell name.

Jonathan Nye, MD of Michell, will present the design ethos, engineering and technical developments of the new decks twice daily. Meet Jonathan in the morning and afternoon each day of the show for first-hand insight into the Gyro and Revolv.

Both decks will be connected via the Michell Apollo phono stage, first heard at last year’s Bristol Show, to the PMC cor integrated amplifier and prophecy speakers.

Throughout the show, you will also get the opportunity to listen to the new Bryston Bi-200 integrated amplifier, which is also receiving its first UK public demonstration.

Combining the Bryston BP-19 Preamplifier and 3B amplifier into a single chassis, the just-launched Bi-200 has already garnered a number of global accolades and reviews.

PMC Distribution UK is located on the ground floor in the SS Great Britain Suite at the Bristol Hi-Fi Show 2026.
