Headphones and glasses

Featured Replies

What recommendations do people have for overear headphones for glasses wearers? I'm specifically looking for noise cancelling + Bluetooth but interested in general thoughts and experiences.

I'm personally finding that comfort and a good seal are major issues

Thanks!

I find glasses to be annoying with most headphones as well.  I have these JBL Tune600 headphones  https://www.jbl.com.au/JBL+TUNE600BTNC.html .  They sit on-ear, and have noise cancelling and bletooth.

I find the "frogskin" leather to be quite comfortable, and they are not as hot as full over-ear headphones.

I'm on my second pair of Sony WH-1000XM4  ... there are a couple of newer (& more expensive) models but I've found these do all I need both at home and when on aircraft.

And you find this model comfortable while wearing glasses?

Yep ... although the fit of the arms to the sides of our heads on each pair of glasses is different so this is likely a very individual thing and while a 2 minute test in store might give an idea you probably won't know how they go after an hour or two till you wear them for that long. Maybe a good idea to take your headphones with you when choosing new frames if it's a big part of your life.

Oddly I've found that the arms of my glasses interfere with the fitting of IEM's which curl forward of the ear in their stiff clear sheath's before they loop back over and behind the ear to more awkward than headphones ... I had JBL TUNES before I changed to the Sony's and have had no noticeable issue with either.
