I have heard that OTL tube amps work well with high impedence headphones. I have a DarkVoice 336SE which has an impedence range of 32 - 600 Ohms. My Sennheiser HD600 sounds great on it. I also have a pair of Hifiman Arya Organics which have an impedence of 16 Ohms. I tried it on the DV and surprisingly the sound is pretty dang good! I dont listen at high volume levels generally - max 1/3 of the way and generally around 1/4 turn of the volume pot.  Would this damage either the headphone or amp? Looking for some guidance here.
