"Latest ads" confusing

Featured Replies

I don't know about other members, but I'm constantly clicking on the very prominent "latest ads" icon at the top of the SNA page, only to be befuddled and frustrated by another "wanted to buy" listing. Please....?? !!😥

In the last 30 ads, only two have been a Wanted, and one a Giveaway.

Am I understanding correctly that these three (in 30) ads that are not For Sale, are bothering you?

No befuddlement here whatsoever and I think I am one of the 99.99% of members to whom this is not even close to being bothersome in any way by WTB ads

99.99% of members?

Sorry, forum officers, but it's a clumsy system in my 0.01 % opinion.

Easily fixed...

Or we could just leave those big attention-getting tabs, with PRODUCT NAME, and $PRICE, under LATEST ADs, as wanted-to-buy posts.

Clear as mud!

It might help if you explain why you’re “befuddled”.

Is it because they exist at all or because you have trouble identify them from other ads?
There are a few easy identifiers. For one the price says “up to”

and second they have an identifying banner that says Wanted.

Why is it "clumsy" that "Latest Ads", includes For Sale, Wanted, and Giveaway ads?

It's 100% as it says on the tin. There's a myriad of other ways one can browse the classifieds, and even tweak those feeds or activity streams to suit their very specific needs.

From where I sit, there are no changes required in this case.

I guess I am in the minority! No worries.

But I certainly wouldn't hire any of you for my Web marketing / advertising campaign!

StereoNET's current forums, and in particular the Classifieds, which we literally wrote from the ground up and a blank canvas, has been built upon the needs, use cases, and feedback provided by the users and members themselves. Many will recall there were almost nightly updates when it launched and it evolved quickly - over months. We addressed nearly every single complaint and or constructive feedback given - unless it was technically impossible.

It's been stable for over a year now however we continue development with infrequent updates and upgrades as required.

My problem here is that it's still not clear what the complaint is, despite me asking specific questions. You have not attempted to address them, nor provide any suggestions on what is wrong or how it can be fixed. Then you end the conversation with an insult ....

I'll close this thread as its clearly non-productive. If you have any other concerns, ideas, or suggestions, then please open a support ticket directly so we can discuss further.
