Nada Posted September 27, 2022 Share Posted September 27, 2022 Thats a good question. The impedance is an indicator of how hard the headphone pushes back on the amp. The 250ohm is a high impedance. The 600ohm is extraordinary high. With a solid state headamp with low output impedance and high current drive a lower impedance headphone matches. Go for the 250ohm. The 600ohm would be a great fit for a tube amp without a transformer "OTL". If you suspect you might want to DIY a tube OTL amp down the track the 600ohm would fit.
