Grant Barry Posted May 21, 2022 Share Posted May 21, 2022 Recently bought a HD6XX off the classifieds forum with the intent to pad roll to get the sound I was after. I purchased some pads from Brainwavz and printed a pad adapter from Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4543868) So far I've tried a oval sheepskin angled pad with the adapter (stock foam removed) and I have to say I haven't been able to bring myself to go back to stock. When the headphones first turned up they felt a bit veiled to me, this change has removed all that and sound great to my ear now. Still have a regular sheepskin and suede pair of pads to try also, which is the other nice option with finding this pad adapter.
