I’ve come across a pair of tower speakers.

The heaviest things I’ve had the pleasure to lift & move. Normally I Google search and I can find details, but this time I’m coming up blanks, so I thought I’d reach out and see if any details ring any bells. Previous owner thinks the speakers are Australian made approx 2010.

Can anyone assist with any details ? Or guesses

Not heard of them myself, but they look much greater than a typical white-van unknown brand speaker.

Suggest a bespoke, custom Australian speaker builder and look well built. Likely no longer in existence.

They look like Dyn or Morel midbass drivers, with a Scanspeak tweeter, and the crossover looks to be substantial by the housing it's in.

How do they sound?

Oh wow congratulations.. you certainly hit the jackpot there

The Vienna cost around 14k alone...

I'm interested in the Yamaha amp if you'd like to sell it

Thanks heaps for putting me in touch with the designer.

Only 3 pairs made

Woofers are Dynaudio 17W75XL 8 ohm in parallel = 4 ohms

Tweeters are Dynaudio 28mm Esotech that are mofified in their throat.

Cabinets are lead lined, solid Jarrah

Can’t wait to actually hear them

Try some bassy tracks that go low ;)

Edit: no need for subwoofers with these speakers.

wow

just wow

I’m not super experienced, but I’ve never heard anything like these speakers before. Definitely no sub required. Spent a few hours today, just pulling out fav CD’s and discovering sounds in favourite tracks I’ve never heard before !!! Amazing vocals and beautiful midrange. But my goodness they are big & heavy, have to think seriously about where I could put them & lobby dear wife to keep ‘em. Super happy to get in contact with creator
