never owned a sub so have some questions regarding subwoofer connection. can i connect the same subwoofer to the avr via line level input and integrated amp using the speaker level input at the same time? that way if i listen to music using the integrated i can still use the sub? avr is a marantz nr1502 and rotel ra1570 stereo int amp

It is possible with some sub but you got to check the manual to see weather this is possible.

Even if this is possible if, you can only use it on a single amplification.

There will be a problem to use 2 different amplifier.

You will need to switch between both the speaker cable in oder for this to work without blowing either amplifier.

There are such switch available on the net.

Please make sure your sub is up to the task before indulging.

it's not mentioned in the manual but it actually works just fine. im using the integrated to drive my front left and right on speaker a  and use speaker b to drive the sub. i tried driving the sub using both line level on avr and speaker level inputs on integrated at the same time and it works just fine. sub is an svs sb1000 btw
