Anyone used deoxit to polish equipment chassis?

Since the red deoxit does a good job getting rid of oxidation on contacts and plugs, has anyone tried it on e.g. amp chassis to restore the shine?

DeOxit is flammable and I would not recommend you use it on the entire casing.

 

I saw second hand hifi shops use the brand Super Fine lotion (made in Germany) and you can get it from Home Fix. About $11.50 a bottle.

Bro I guess you meant to say don't use deoxit  cos it's flammable?
