Tony Todd. The name immediately conjures up images of big, scary black men with a perfect deep bass voice that could creep out pretty much anyone. To horror aficionados, we know that Tony's been in everything from the remake of 'Night of the Living Dead' to the two 'Final Destination' films, but most of the general public knows him as Candyman.

Moviehole recently got a chance to chat with Todd about his past and future roles, and here's what he had to say regarding a possible fourth entry into the series:

"I'm reaching out to Clive Barker for another trip to the well. With the advent of popularity in Horror currently, I think the time is right for the definitive version. I certainly want a crack before a current rapper gets a crack at inheriting the mantle."

Not too shabby of news, I would have to say, unless you consider the fact that Barker has said dozens of times he'll never direct again. It'd still be nice to see Barker on board in a writing capacity if nothing else, but who knows. If anything solid comes out about the project, you know you'll hear about it here.
