SPR08Y
SOLD SOLD Item Condition: Consistent with age! A few blemishes (see photos) Shipping Options: Pickup available but audition is not available. Suburb or Town: Dulwich Hill State: NSW Payment Method: PayPal, EFT, cashola, etc. Reason for selling: Deceased estate Further information: Very nice Herron VTSP - 3 preamplifier my friend had in between his Loth X Troubadour Speakers and Yamamoto power amplifier. (also listed) He has done some tube rolling by the look of it as there are 4 Tesla 6922 red tip gold pin tubes in it and a couple of Phillips 6922 ECGs. No idea why they are where they are, no doubt he found it sounded better that way, he was certainly thoughtful about such things. May have traces of cigarette odour and no box or cables. Some info: https://positive-feedback.com/Issue35/herron_vtsp3.htm I think I've priced it pretty sharply! From memory, tubes 2 & 5 (the middle one in each row of 3) are only used when polarity is reversed so the owner may not have worried about swapping those 2 out ... or he may have done it deliberately to compare between the two types of tube using the polarity button on the remote control.
