This is coming along swiftly! You move much faster than I do 😂 

 

What have you used to affix the sound insulation batons in the porous absorbers? I see some sort of plastic flashing around the edge…

Placement took longest, but I think it has paid off. I'm pretty happy with decay / RT60. 

 

Those are angle plaster trims you get from bunnings. I suggest you place some inside as well to get flush front finish. I'll be doing that at some stage. I used wood in some frames but that adds weight.

Ah good idea. All items on the Bunnings list, even better. 

Love this system! 

But I might dowgrade / downsize to Bang & Olufsen until new home is ready. Probably looking at 2 years plus to build new home in the mean time I'll probably move in with my gf's apartment. 

 

She don't know yet.  Haha

Downgrade? Setup sounds very good with all these time invested. Pretty sure, your next build will be even better hey!.

Yeah my mates are like don't sell! 

 

Might still keep them.. I can't get allocation on car that I want 😞 and they required rather very large deposit. I'll just set the system up at my parents house lol.

Miss having a glass of wine and streaming some hidef music.

 

My current sound system doesn't allow for the wine bit haha. But after months of ownership I just figure out it has audiophile setting haha.

 

I've got Strads up for sale, but I might be keen for small integrated amp and some bookshelf speakers. 

Took these bad boys out of storage. Only issue is I don't have a amp to drive them.  Three years have gone past soooo quick!

 

Think i need to start only fans page to fund rest of the system. 🤔
