Item: Linn LP12 turntable
Location: Adelaide
Price:  $850 ono?
Item Condition: fair condition

Reason for selling: too many turntables and funds for new projects
Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, only local sale only,
Extra Info: early model Linn with smoked lid, has new power supply by Vinyl Passion,  (see pics ) and spare original working power supply and switch with Linn and rega armboards.

works well, only want to sell this local as do not want to post it, and am happy to help buyer fit arm and cartridge if you are not very confidant, am no expert in the ways

of Linn but can get it very close, have had Dynavector xx2 and origin live arm on it and it sounded very good.

I am seriously tempted, but I don't have a spare arm at the moment, plus I have 3 TTs.

I have a Hadcock GH228 unipivot and Shure V15 III on my Luxman, will give them a go.

Linn Pivot to spindle is 211mm GH228 is 212.85.

Rega is 222mm I think.

I’d have bought it for fun if he’d post haha

would have posted it but for 2 reasons.

1 I am a lazy bugga ?

2. Austpost can be hazardous to a turntables health! imho of course ?

and if there was no love in Adelaide for it in first week or two I would have offered that but took the easy way first

cheers

and replied, accepted.

as for the Hadcock the Linn arm board has a wider hole, but as it is close to the same distance I can make up a collar either aluminium or delrin to fit it.

sold now pending payment and pickup.

thanks all

Making something yourself is completely different to doing post office paperwork, and then feeling nervous about any third party accidents to the turntable during delivery.

I'd say Peter Pan is pretty smart.  It is all about managing control and responsibility.

Batty, when is your next session at Turntables Annonymous?  :)
