Buying from Japan

Hi

Looking at buying a turntable from Japan ,  anyone know of contacts over there that will buy for you , mainly looking for a one only person rather than a company like " buyee ". Any help would be appreciated .

I use the Noppin service (rather than a single person) and have never had an issue so far on about a dozen imports. More important is identifying the right sellers (on Yahoo Japan) as this is your responsibility rather than that of the buying service. I will only purchase from certain sellers that have received positive references through various audio forums. Consistently, the items (including turntables) have been excellently packed and arrived exactly as per the photos and descriptions.

 

I have also purchased through HiFi Do on several occasions and while a little more expensive they are tremendously reliable.

Used to use zenmarket.jp, one of those proxies. All's fine, no failures, etc. Everything is reliably packed, nothing broken, especially a turntable...
