4 x Procella P5.  Small but mighty !

 

Was a real PITA to install them into the baffle ceiling !!

Nice work Peter - turned out very clean and discrete. 

 

Given how large your space is, how have you found the P5s? Are they playing cleanly at the volume you typically listen at?

Very happy with them.  They have more than enough output capability for Atmos duty !

Hey Peter, my theater I'll be building in a few years may end up similar size to yours.

 

How far back are both your seating rows from the screen?

About 3.7 and 5.5 metres.  I don't like sitting close.

I really like the spacious feeling of your room,  and based on your pics thought your first row was further back than 3.7m. I was planning around 4.5m, but will probably end up experimenting once the room shell is built.

 

Your ceiling height probably adds a lot to the feeling of space.

The wide angle shots distort apparent distances.

 

Are you doing two rows ?  4.5m would put a second row too far back IMHO.  If one row then 4.5m would be great.
