I saw this in Melbourne a couple of weekends ago as I won't be in Perth when it's shown on the big screen here. It was awesome!

Eth Nick Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Never seen this film, but it sounds like the care taken to re-create it is what we should be getting on a lot more releases..
SDL Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Looked on the JB website, is the Australian version just DD5.1?
SDL Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 (edited) [quote name=' timestamp='1352256909' post='1843749] Nope Thanks - was going to pick it up locally but saw JB website and EzyDVD website both stating DD5.1 only - so you have seen/heard it? Edit: VideoEzy are also stating English DD5.1 Are you sure we haven't gotten dudded in Australia? Edited November 7, 2012 by SDL

I'm just totally confused hehe so yeah sorry no idea on the aus version of lawrence ! scratch what I said
SDL Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Picked it up at jb as the packaging says dts hd ma so will test it out and if not take it back, hopefully it's just a website issue.
SDL Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Did grab Hitchcock as well as already have north by northwest and only double up is Psycho.
SDL Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 The good news is, despite all the websites saying differently, the Australian release of Lawrence of Arabia is DTS HD MA and looks and sounds awesome. I watched about 1 hour of it after just intending to check the sound was HD and was sucked in by how good it looked.
