DrP Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 (edited) All,DrP lost his MVQ6 19 years ago, when the aggregation policy was introduced by a previous government. Seven network bought this TV station. He needs this policy scrapped to make him happy again. AlanH Well that confirms it. You really are bonkers. Where this latest bit of insanity from alanh came from I'll never know and I doubt anyone else will. However, I have preserved it for posterity here. Edited July 6, 2009 by DrP
digitalj Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 alanh, stop this rubbish. If someone disagrees with your point of view, maybe you need to try having a good look and seeing if you really understood what you were reading. Don't just read the first view paragraphs, stop there and respond to it as if that's it. You need to read the entire post/article or whatever you're reading to make sure you have the right understanding before responding.
alanh Posted July 7, 2009 Author Posted July 7, 2009 Bellotv, MVQ6 was the commercial TV station in Mackay prior to aggregation when it was bought by 7 Qld. The similar single commercial station in those days was NRN11 in your area. AlanH
GoForMoe Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 All, AlanH lost his sanity 19 years ago, when the aggravation policy was introduced by a previous government. Free TV Australia bought this person. He needs this policy scrapped to make him happy again.
sdixon Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Pardon my ignorance again but....what is this thread about? ....curious.
digitalj Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Pardon my ignorance again but....what is this thread about?....curious. it's alanh trying to get at DrP
DrP Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 I thought it was alanh trying to prove that he is bonkers... and doing a darned fine job at it too!
Keepleft Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Funny, I have a letter addressed to me in Port Moresby from MVQ6 Mackay, something about new transmitters @ Mt Blackwood (2000ft) with a northerly beam to Proserpine. Ch 6 using AWA 2x2VH5Kw transmitters in parrallel each driving the aerial system (100kw vision/20k/w sound). 17 April 1979. J Ditton Chief Engineer I think I should post the whole letter for posterity.
Saxon Hall Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 (edited) I really think DTV Forum would be diminished if not for the byplay between DrP and alanh. I find it more amusing than most so called comedy shows on TV. In all seriousness, I have learnt quite a lot from both of them, so keep up the good work! Edited July 12, 2009 by holdencaulfield2007
viewer1503559544 Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Pardon my ignorance again but....what is this thread about?....curious. I'm with you sdixon...I'll keep reading the updates, and then perhaps someone can score it for us...as long as they know what the thing is about though....
dispenser Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 All, Sanity lost it's alanh 19 years ago, when the aggregation policy was introduced by a previous government. Seven network bought this person. Sanity needs this policy scrapped to make it happy again.
Captain Cupcake Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I really think DTV Forum would be diminished if not for the byplay between DrP and alanh. I find it more amusing than most so called comedy shows on TV. In all seriousness, I have learnt quite a lot from both of them, so keep up the good work! I will take that one step further, and declare that "DTV Forum- Australia's leading Digital TV and AV Forum" be renamed "DrP vs alanh Forum- Australia's leading Digital TV based flame war".
