optusman
Hello Do you get a free HDMI cable when upgrading to IQ2 or do you have to provide your own ? Can you get and pay for HD+ movies even if you don't take up the HD channels package ? Thanks
fsjk85
im pretty sure you get a hdmi cable (i did) as for the movies, i believe you need to pay the HD access fee ($10) to have access to box office HD, the other HD channels cost extra
optusman
One more question, anyone know the physical dimensions of the IQ2 box ?
fsjk85
Dimensions (W x H x D) 204mm x 60mm x 294mm from http://hd.foxtel.com.au/pdf/FOXTEL_iQ2_Tec...cifications.pdf
btg
HDMI cable is the least they could do because they do charge a high initial fee for iq2
loony
Dimensions (W x H x D) 204mm x 60mm x 294mmfrom http://hd.foxtel.com.au/pdf/FOXTEL_iQ2_Tec...cifications.pdf Those dimensions couldn't be more wrong, They are 60 x 404 x 294 mm (H x W x D). Strangely enough foxtel dont seem to care about correcting it. I have no idea how they measured it to be what they say it is
donny221
The FOXTEL IQ2 has a HDMI cable included with it when it is installed, which is great! Yes, you are able to purchase the FOXTEl HD On Demand movies without being subscribed to the FOXTEL HD packages. Enjoy your FOXTEL IQ2 !

Correct. You also have On Demand shows (separate to On Demand movies) which are 'pre-recorded' via the 4th tuner

That doesn't make sense. There is a button on the remote called 'On Demand' - the On Demand shows are all SD (I haven't come across HD ones yet). Furthermore, you pay per view with the On Demand HD movies so why would they refuse revenue??!! They cannot 'revert' to SD as they are HD movies - Foxtel downscales the HD movie??!!
