Sony Bravia (kdl40w4000)

Featured Replies

ok, just finished wall mounting my bravia, but we can't figure out how to remove the stand from the bottom of the tv... there's four screws in the bottom of the stand, but i'm not sure if they're the solution, or something else entirely, and i don't want to go pulling things out without knowing what they're attached to first...

anyone removed the stand from their bravia before? tips on what to unscrew/remove?

I have removed a few Bravia stands and I have to admit that it is not obvious which screws you remove.

Just whip the 4 screws out. I am fairly sure they all need to come out and if not you can replace them.

It's not like the TV falls to bits or anything if you take out too many.

that is kinda what i was worried about :D

so there shouldn't be any problems if i just unscrew those four on the bottom?
