Hi All,

Is it just me, or has Fox Digital reception gone pretty bad over the last week ?

I have noticed that the pic is quite jagged at times, and in fact when playing back something from the IQ, the rotating "play" icon on the screen is jagged...

Anyone else notice this, or is there something I can do ?

As an fyi, I have a Pioneer 508XDA plasma, connected to the IQ box via component (YUV) cables.

Thanks

That should be enough to tell you that the problem is at your end, not with Foxtel's transmission. Something might be crook with your IQ or you might have some sort of edge enhancement going on in your display. Check all cabling blah blah blah....

no probs

Tried all settings, including rebooting Fox IQ and reseating cables... still no good.

Picture quality seems to really have diminished over the last week or so

Just spoke with Foxtel and they have verified all my configs are good.

If they send a tech out, and it's not their IQ box, then it's a $75 hit !!

So wanna try prove what the prob is first .... HELP !

I haven't noticed any change in picture quality, I have a similar set up with a Pioneer plasma connected to the std Foxtel box (not IQ) via scart to component.

Just seems that the pic is more unrefined than before.

I don't expect HD type quality, but it just seems way less defined than before
