Razr Posted August 17, 2007 Author Posted August 17, 2007 From the EISA FAQ: The EISA Awards are chosen annually by Panels representing nearly 50 prominent Photo, Video, Audio, Home Theater and Mobile Electronics magazines from up to 20 European countries. All Panels work separately, but are under contract to the European Imaging & Sound Association. brand new products will only be accepted if they have been available for detailed testing before 1 June (latest delay) by a least 5 member magazines of the Panel concerned. In addition, awarded products must also be for sale to the general public no later than 10 September in the year of the Awards in at least 10 European countries. Awarded products sold on 'pre-ordering' base must be delivered to the customer within 2 weeks after ordering, at the latest at 24 September. 'Pre-ordering' base is only liable to products with a price-tag of at least Euro 5.000.

Hit up http://www.notgoodenough.org/ ... personally I'd never buy LG rubbish anyway (cheaply made crap) but they should still honour their warranty.. if it never worked, they have something to answer to.
armandacea Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 Hi, I have a Samsung Ht-txq120 home cinema but i can't operate it with the remote control. The sistem is new i have got it today but still i don't know what's wrong with it. Is it the sensor in the subwofer or the remote control? Thanks

Thanks More info might help - however take the remote back to the shop and get it checked out. I had a similar problem with a Teac LCD TV recently - shop confirmed the remote was o/s and replaced it immediately.
nightbreed Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 Some very odd choices there. How many of the judges now have shiny new LG products at home?
