I love to have a beer with Duncan,

I love to have a beer with Dunc,

We drink in moderation

And we never, ever, ever get rollin drunk.

We drink at the Town and Country

Where the atmosphere is great,

I love to have a beer with Duncan

I have a feeling there wont be a RZ10, the 2700 has exceeded Yamaha's expectations. Thats not to say nothing high-end will ever come from them.

I was correct, there is an RZ-11 possiby due by year end. It may not be called the RZ-11, but defo not called an RZ-10.

Haha. What a crazy notion. Like saying Mercedes are withdrawing from the market because of strong Hyundai sales.

Not at all, just validating my original post. Nothing wrong with that. You might'nt see a prob with mentioning Duncan's name on here, but have you ever considered asking Duncan himself?

What are the Yamaha Mic's like for Auto tuning the audio?

Hi Geoff,

When I did the auto setup on the 2700 it came up spot on. Speaker distances were spot. Checked levels against a Sound Level Meter and that was spot on to.

Cheers Bill

While the YPAO is quite accurate, I still prefer to manually set up my speakers. What I did was run the YPAO, then delete all the speaker adjustments that were made, and do them manually. However I kept the subwoofer EQ as I found the YPAO did a good job of helping out with some problematic frequencies.
