dixitr Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 hi all, i have a fujitsu pds4242 plasma (1024x1024) hooked upto to a humax hd-stb via component cables. (in this model dvi-d & rgb is for computer output only). the setup works great as long as selected resolution on humax is 760p. the moment i go to 1080i - the plasma picutre goes out of vertical sync. the bottom half of frame is displayed at top half of the screen, and vise-versa. there is of course a black band in the middle of the screen. looks like typical out of vertical sync picture. fujitsu support, to say the least, is non-existant. they do not even have a support link on their website. sent many emails to humax - got replies in bl**dy korean language so is there somebody who has faced similar problem and found a solution ? any tips-- pls help me out
bradharvey Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 stick with 720p and be happy.... a progressive signal is probably better anyways....
ozmatt Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 I bought a Fujitsu 50"/Digital View set-top box and all resolutions work fine. When the LG was connected to it it would not display at 1080 either. I am told that Humax also make the LG the same issue maybe?? You are right about Fujitsu support I rang them and asked them about a suitable set-top box and they said they will have a product shortly when I told the salespeople at the hifi place they laughed.
