  • Very good cool climate wine and certainly good value compared to the Clonakilla flagship. Co-fermented with 5% Viognier. Has the classic Canberra Shiraz white pepper.

  • Had a great lunch at Oncore by Clare Smyth yesterday. Very very exe wine list, so did matching wines..  grabbed an extra glass of this Neb.   Views speak for themselves

I'm pretty sure that sometime in the next week or so, I'll have cracked into some bubbles. ;)

Within the next week or so, pretty safe to assume I would have drunk all reasonable substance known to man, in fact even within the next 72 hours :D Got a belter coming up tomorrow night I suspect...

... Isle Of Jura ...

What are your thoughts?

I finished a bottle of Tormore last week which I didn't rate at all. Talisker would be my favourite of the last few. Any suggestions?

Oh boy - had a truckload of crownies Friday night, about half a d of beam and cokes yesterday, oh and how can I forget about 4 woodstocks on Saturday night.

With the very odd water in between and I even had some Orange juice yesterday morning.

Right now - nothing which I will soon rectify...TO WATER!!

just about given up on coffee over the weekend, it's been way to hot :(

but hey, sometimes it's good to be hot and sweaty :P

just check the scales thread

Nothing like a beer to cool down that core temperature IMHO

Hot and Sweaty is ALL GOOD, as long as you are sharing the heat ;)

I'm getting there :P

Hey I just realised I have 2 blue telles

Jura one of my oldtime favourites then never seen in Duty Free. Must have hit hard times now back with a Trendy new image and packaging. Jura 1810 and Jura Superstition now in Brisbane Duty Free.

Dark Amber in colour similar in character to Islay Malts without the strong peaty flavour . Superstition has a more smoky peaty flavour than 1810 but its not dominant.

NB: Glenfiddich 18 year is AUS $100.00 at Brisbane Duty Free and only US$54.00 at Dubai. WTF and Brisbane claim to be cheaper than bla bla bla.

The 18 year is soooo smooth its a beut.
