  • I've got a bottle of this, they are up around $600 on Ebay nowadays. I bought 2 of them, one to drink and one to hold on to. Problem is you can't sell them easily without a liquor licence. So usually

  • Yeah but will it go from $300 to $600 or will it become out of vogue? Its very easy to make investment decisions looking in the rear view mirror, i'd be buying it to drink.

Nope I buy to drink and have downed what would today have been some pretty damned expensive stuff. Only one i'm not touching is a Bruichladdich DNA first edition as that goes for silly money these day

If I wanted a whisky investment today, I would buy the glennfiddich 26 year old exceptional which is about $500 a bottle. Worth that any day of the week and will be $1000 in a year. Exceptional is correct in every way.

dm has it for $520.

that is very cheap. they are not making much margin at that price.

  • 1 year later...
