Item: Nikon D200 with Grip Location: Melbourne Eastern Suburbs Price: AUD$350.00 Item Condition: Up for grabs is this beautiful mint condition Nikon D200, with ridiculously low shutter count of less than 1700. You see it right, not even two thousand shots fired on this camera! The D200 was a semi-pro or serious amateur camera. You can see it by these features: 1) Top LCD panel display. 2) Magnesium alloy body 3) Pentaprism viewfinder - you can SEE the difference compared with most consumer 4-digit models (D3200, D5400, etc) which use cheaper penta-mirrors 4) Wide range of lens compatibility - it can mount and meter with most Nikon lenses, including manual focus lenses. It can meter and autofocus with non-AF-S lenses, i.e, the older AF-D lenses, because the camera body has a focusing motor. Most new consumer models do not have this motor and you are required to use AF-S lenses with integral motor on the lenses. 5) It has the 10-pin remote terminal that accepts all kinds of accessories, e.g., the MC-30 remote cord. If you have never had a "pro" grade camera, it may be worthwhile to get this set just for the education. Just download the manual from this site and read all about it:https://cdn-10.nikon-cdn.com/pdf/manuals/noprint/D200_en_noprint.pdf Or just look at the beautiful brochure here: https://cdn-4.nikon-cdn.com/e/Q5NM96RZZo-YRYNeYvAi9beHK4x3L-8mX69Pa_ygs6sHmHEodG3_jtLWvk-a_HUl/PDF/D200_Brochure.pdf What you'll be getting for $350 are: 1) D200 camera (10.2 Megapixel DX Format) 2) MB-D200 vertical grip 3) Lens Nikkor 18-55/3.5-5.6 G DX VR - Vibration Reduction (reduces camera shake). Sorry UV filter not included. 4) Battery (EN-EL3e) 5) Battery Charger (MH-18a) 6) 8GB Lexar CF card (Platinum II 200x speed) 7) USB Card Reader ? Software CD and Manual All packed in a Lowepro/Nikon bag (not pictured). Or you can take the set (Camera+Grip) without the lens (Lens Nikkor 18-55/3.5-5.6 G DX VR) for $300, otherwise the price is fix. And I won't sell the lens without the camera. Or you can buy the Grip alone (no battery) without the camera and lens for $100. I won't sell the camera and lens without first selling the grip. So, buying the whole set is clearly the best deal. Collect at Knox City or Scoresby. For StereoNet mates, I'm willing to give you a brief intro into digital photography over a cup of coffee if you buy this. Hey, how much are people willing to pay these days for education? Note: This item is also listed elsewhere, so be quick if you are interested. Also, this camera doesn't do video, so if you are looking to do video, then this is not the right camera for you.
