Two issues: didn't calibrate, just plug and play but doesn't work. The other which is main reason is the source DVD player sending PCM, took me a while to realize that before changing the output signal. :P

Hi need some help. I can't seem to get the sub working with pioneer receiver. I am new to pioneer. Nothing wrong with kk I think as I just got the fuse replaced. Any advice appreciated.

Thanks to bro arcustic who allowed me to check out his stacked dxd808 at his newly renovated house, a gorgeous house indeed. Ok we tested with one and then stacked and then one again. In the flight of Phoenix, with the stacked dxd808, you find yourself turning with the plane, damn power. In transformers, stacked provided some low rumble sound effect that was almost non noticeable when playing with one. Well the stacked is definitely better than a solo, but not sure how it stacked against one dxd12012. Guess will have to go Peng showroom for a AB comparison soon. Bro arcustic a great host, appreciate you spending precious weekend time, but you got me poisoned not just the sub but big screen effect as well. Cheers.

This is so true....I took the bait on 2nd visit. It is not cheap really but the sub is persuasive, so is Peng. But I must commend him for his patience in sharing knowledge and also demo some 5hz stuff Think I met two xp bro that evening at the showroom, guess one has a stacked dxd12012, another "passerby" bro obviously went for stacked dxd808 later on. So if you are undecided, don't go! Otherwise, you will be like this bro and many others, with a kk sub!

Hey bro artcustic, How long did u play w one before the stacking of 2? I thot one is already pretty immersive w movie and great for audio. Did stacking increase lows or just increase the impact? I have not heard stacked dxd before

really cannot compare but share my mini adventure nonetheless: 1. REL strata III 2. NHT subwoofer 3. SVS PB10 (poisoned by XP) 4. KK808 (poisoned by XP) 5. K...... In listing down, I noticed a 'poisonous' trend, but my dosage is still under control. ::)

In the end it's DXD808 for me ;D. So far v satisfied. A treat for my return to HT. Will try to swallow DXD12012 probably later.

Hi need some advice here. Had an audition, felt kk12012 is better in almost all depts compared to kk808, most obvious at lower frequencies (the feel). both budget and waf point to kk808, my preference to kk12012. But since audition is only a short time with just one movie and with emphasis on mid bass, need you bros to advise if kk808 is lacking in deep bass for movies like lord of the ring, war of the worlds, etc Thx
