Can recommend a transparent and detailed cable?

Mission 780 is really good, but lacks bit of bass.

Where do you think I can get a good deal on the above terminated with banana plugs ( 2-4 configuration )?

Not comparing the 2 speakers, as I know 773e is of a higher league than m73, but just interested to get some feedbacks on them. Thinking of upgrading my KEF Cresta 2 to either of the above. You mean the 77 series only scores better than the m70 series in term of looks? Thanks.

What the recommended upgrade for speaker cables? Thinking of QED 25th Silver Anniversary cables. Whats the price like? Would changing the speakers to Mission M73 be considered a significant ungrade? Coz I'm wondering if they are in the ard the same league ( M73 just slightly better than the KEF Cresta2), though i know one is a floor stander and the other a bookshelf. Thanks.

it'll probably smoothen out the high frequencies just that little bit. It'll do little to the midrange and almost nothing to the bass (in which you might notice some bass notes is strangely softer than others) :) If you can, play with diff material placed in the space between the speakers and you. This is the MOST important surface to treat. good luck! :) Thanks!! ;)

Will placing a carpet btw my listening position and the hifi system really improve the sound? Significant improvement? Has no carpet to try out so I'm asking.

Hmmm..... think I can inject abt $500? Rough estimate..... The current system is alrite..... but I'm hoping to get a clearer and sharper sound, with addition of bit more bass. The system is placed in my bedroom of abt 3m X 5m. I thought that NAD would be able to pair better with Mission speakers than my current KEF Cresta 2. Someone is selling second-hand Mission 773e, thinking of getting it from him. At the very least, I think my interconnect and cables are not maximising the capabilities of the stereo system. Someone is also selling second-hand Eccose Conductor (CA-1), thinking of getting it also. How do I go abt tweaking the room for better acoustics? Thanks all.

Thinking of upgrading my current stereo system: NAD C340 Amplifier ( 50w X 2 ) NAD C520 CD-Player KEF Cresta 2 bookshelf speakers Audio Signature Interconnect QED Biwire 79 Strand speaker cables Intends to replace the interconnect with Eccose Conductor (CA-1) Interconnect. Intends to replace the KEF Cresta 2 to Mission 773e. Also wanna upgrade the speakers cables but have no idea wat to change to as yet. Intends to retain Amp/CD player at the moment. Plays lotsa chinese/english pop, learning to appreciate smooth jazz music also. Upgrade intended for a sharper, clearer, bassier sound with good sound staging. Any comments? Appreciate all inputs. :)
