Hi guys, Had my PDP507 delivered and installed last wwek. Pioneer guys where FANTASTIC from A-Y I left out Z because they connections needed some adjustemensts but hey, overall a great experience with Pioneer. Now the real questions: I have Foxtel with a cable for scart connection to composite to my LG1999HD which only has a red, white and yellow input but a composite (6 plugs) output. I have the LG1999HD connected via HDMI to the 507. I also have the antennae cable connected to the LG1999HD. Are these connections OK? I only have 3 out of 6 wires connected from the Foxtel to the LG1999HD so i doubt I am getting best connection. Any suggestions guys?

Bought my 50" PDP507XDA today for $4500.00 from Myer Miranda. Also got over $200.00 in Myers Gift Vouchers with their Myer Card sytem. Delivery by end of week. Absolutely wrapped. How does this unit comapre to the PDP-5000EX?

Hi guys, I am looking at either the Sony Bravia 60" SXRD RPTV or the Pioneer PDP-5000EX. Anyone have any comments on both and also any best price indications? The only negative I have had so far on the Sony is the replacement costs of lamps and the 1 year warranty; The negative on the Pioneer is price. I live in Sydney. Thanks in advance

Anyone have any suggestions on where in Sydney I can get best price for the PDP-507XDA ? Any pros or cons for this unit? For the same $$$$ would this be the best choice for a 50"HD ?
