To see what firmware is on your panel goto the Menu then scroll to Support menu Goto Software Upgrade and it shows you the current version on the Panel this is the same spot where you download new firmware to the panel also the firmware that have I loaded now says 2010/06/23_001017 not exactly sure what the previous version was saying think it was a 2010 version 1016 The firmware version on the website is 1017.1 regards cubby

Have fixed the lip sync problem, uploaded newer firmware from Samsung website and all seems good now.

Have had my ps50c550 for 4 days now, and am trying to workout how to rid the lip sync issue the tv has. Has anybody had/got this issue. When watching through my Toppy 5000 there is no issue. I have tried running the aerial directly to the tv and the lip sync is still there. Have had no luck finding any tip or trick to remedy the problem. Any help would be appreciated thanks cubby..

ditto for me have been waiting for my 50inch plasma since start of june keep getting the same answers, they were meant to be getting shipment in before end of june I have been calling and emailing them every week, with same response every time of someone will call me in next few days re delivery. So for the few hundred saved I could be enjoying my TV if purchased elsewhere

just purchased one the other (ps50c550) day at http://www.digitalcentre.com.au/ for $1399 including 5yr warranty had none in stock but expecting in about 1 week. did shop around, most would price match on tv price but not come to the party on the 5yr warranty

was out looking for a HD box for a friend and by chance was in target and they have at the moment the Topfield 7120 going for $139 down from $299 this is the freeview model that is PVR ready not sure if all target store but this was in Ballarat cheers Cubby

Is it possible to see the database list that is compatible with the Harmonry 520 without purchasing the remote first I have looked on the website and cannot find such a list, just a reference to it "The online database contains all the information of 2,500 manufacturers and over 80,000 models of components." I purchase a 9060PVR just over a week ago and to date have not had any problems.... fingers crossed I only found this forum a day after I had made my purchase , I am still optimistic that maybe my unit will not be a lemon I will let you know if I have any trouble
